October Nights |
October is one of the most popular months to be married in our area. Not much rain, pleasant temperatures and the leaves are changing to wonderful shades of gold, red and orange. A great color palate!
We were happy to help several October couples plan and coordinate their weddings. Beth Ann and Travis at the great 1840’s Ballroom, Ali and Rob at the fabulous Maryland Science Center, Jessica and Terry at Naylor Vineyards and Kate and Sajid at Kentland Mansion.
Each wedding was very different, from the afternoon ceremony in the 1840’s Courtyard to the elegant evening ceremony outside the Science Center overlooking Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. Jessica and Terry had a casual but elegant vineyard barbeque and Kate and Sajid incorporated love letters between Kate’s grandparents into their ceremony. For each of them we had perfect weather.
Even if it’s in a house of worship, everyone who plans their wedding would like the weather to be good, no rain, snow or sleet please. But if you are planning an outdoor ceremony as each of these couples did, it is imperative that you also have a “plan B”.
Now that our outdoor ceremonies are finished for this year, I do not need to check the weather forecast daily to see if it will rain. Come next spring however, AccuWeather will once again be checked on a daily basis. |
